Gardening Club

Garden Club takes place throughout the school year (with a break between Christmas and Easter). New members can join in September. It is open to pupils from  Key Stage 2 (years 3, 4, 5 and 6.) There are approximately 10 children in the club with an appointed head gardener. 

Until December, we pick our late summer crops and tidy up the garden, greenhouse and tool shed ready for spring.

After a short break over the winter months, we return in April when we prepare the garden and sew seeds for spring growing.

We also take part in garden related craft activities. The Head Gardener works all year round getting ready for the growing period, ordering seeds and equipment.
