Our Curriculum

Our intent is to create a fun yet meaningful and lasting learning experience for all children which is centered around giving children a wide range of learning opportunities throughout their time at Redlands.  Our curriculum is delivered through a range of engaging topics all of which are knowledge based and underpinned by key vocabulary, skills and rich learning experiences.   Clear sequencing and progression ensures children are building on prior knowledge from nursery to Y6.

Whole School Topic Overview

We are proud of our rich sporting heritage and the extra curricular opportunities which support our children in becoming confident, aspirational, well-rounded individuals.

We strongly believe in developing the whole child so that when they leave us in Y6 they have many learning experiences, including those beyond the classroom,  to ensure they are life long learners.  We recognise the individual needs of all pupils and take into account their social and emotional development, background, current skills, disabilities, specific learning needs and faith.
