At Redlands, we pride ourselves on our strong family ethos and the positive relationships that exist between all members of our school community. We are a strong team, striving for excellence in all that we do.

Children are full of curiosity and wonder and, as educators and practitioners, it is our core purpose to nurture and develop this into a lifelong love of learning. Our broad and balanced curriculum is brought to life by carefully planned first-hand experiences that make learning fun. This is delivered by a talented staff team who are committed to providing the best education possible for each of our pupils. We are determined that every child will be the best they can be – both academically and personally.

We strive to give our pupils a range of different opportunities to complement and enhance our curriculum. We have a vast range of extra-curricular activities on offer including numerous sports clubs (football, table-tennis, dance, gymnastics and basketball to name but a few!), award-winning choirs, curriculum clubs and much more besides. Outdoor learning is important and as a result all of our children take part in Forest School sessions. We are currently undertaking a new project to further improve our outdoor learning and play at lunch time and break times. Every moment at our school is an opportunity to develop, learn and have fun!  

Our children really are at the heart of everything that we do here at Redlands.
